Landoe's went Cliff Jumping, hiking, and 4WD up in the mountains. It was great fun and there were about 5 other families with 4WD vehicles which made it that much more fun. There were about 12 youth. Alaura was the first youth to jump into the chilly gorge waters.

They say that freezing temperatures make very clear photos because all the moisture falls to the earth (or to a lower warmer elevation) when it freezes leaving you with clear crisp and vivid colors. Here's just a few things Landoes were up to on Saturday. Hunter found a snake in the wood pile.Meanwhile, Karah was decorating for the 2008 Annual Relief Society broadcast & dinner. Hunter helped load 4 chords of wood today and single handedly weed eated the entire front bank facing the road. There were two separate ladies that drove by and complimented Hunter on his work ethic, (both happened while he was loading wood into a trailer). Spent the day up at Dicksons lighting off mega balls, lady fingers, and a bunch of other ill-eagle fireworks. The kids also took a ride in Grampa's freedom truck. Landoe's spent time working in the yard this Memorial Day weekend. Hunter helped dig post holes for the grape trellis. Last year we harvested 4o lbs of grapes. The year before that we nearly harvested 70 lbs!!! This year we want to get above 80 lbs. It will be hard since you needs a lot of sunshine to get big juicy grapes. We'll see.

We celebrated Rhiannon's eigth birthday today! We had Cousins, Aunts, and Grandparents come over to share in the celebration. The kids danced and played an awesome game of musical candy (similar to musical chairs). One of our family traditions is to try and get out to Long Beach or Cannon Beach at least once per year. This picture was taken at Long Beach, WA. On this trip, all of the kids had a chance to learn how to skim board. We also rented a Six person Quad-cycle and pedaled all around Seaside, Oregon. Fun trip.

One of the memorable things about St Louis was that I had rigged up a giant rope swing in the back yard of the house. Almost every day, the kids would ride on the rope swing. It was a big hit in the neighborhood too.

We moved to St Louis, MO just after Daniel was born. This picture is of the kids standing on the steps that lead up to the base of the St Louis Arch. Many of the kids childhood friends are in St Louis. St Louis is also where we purchased our first home.

Daniel was born in Texas, and so that makes him our one Tay-xan. Not enough space to talk about Daniel. He is unique and independant personality from all the other kids. He doesn't take any flak from anybody. He's a tough and righteous little kid. At his birth, his siblings were ages 4, 5 & 6.

I think it was about 80 degrees on this Texas Halloween day. Fun experience and fun ward. Hunter is fireman, Alaura is an angel, and Rhiannon is a bunny.

This was a fun trip. Our brother-in-law, John Pope had some connections that enabled us to stay in a Hotel overlooking much of the park. This was a fun and memorable trip.

The kids loved living in BYU. We lived right across from the BYU creamery where Uncle Mark would take them for ice-cream every Friday. They always looked forward to that.

This picture is one of our first family pictures we ever took. We were living in Provo, Utah at the time. The day was frosty cold and Alaura's nose was visibly pink. This marks a time of great optimism and opportunity for the Landoe Family. Joel was attending BYU and Karah was just beginning to play piano as part of the Temple Square concert series, which entailed playing at the Conference Center
